Today is Saturday, October 25 2008 for Friday, October 24, 2008.
I remember adolescence and suspect that I am, in part, stuck there. I suspect that I was dealing with depresesion or bipolar illness while at the same time struggling with my identity.
A friend an I went to Whole Foods on 14th Street in Manhattan where ai spent $54.00 on a small amout of food. My friend calls Whole Foods, "Whole paycheck". Later I went to Avery Fisher Hall at Lincoln Center to hear the National Chorale sing Beethoven's Ninth Symphony, the "Ode to Joy". The program included Brahms' Schicksalslied and Bach's Singet dem Herm. The pieces were bigger than life. Little did I know that the security guard was getting fired as I enjoyed the music.
